Westfield Local Heroes are nominated by their communities, and the outcome of the public vote will determine the three successful 2021 Local Heroes for every Westfield centre, with each of their affiliated organisations awarded a $10,000 grant to support their work to thrive.

We are very proud to announce that our TimeOut Founder and Board Chair Ronda Amende is a Local Hero finalist for Westfield Albany! Please take a minute to recognise and give back to Ronda who is doing amazing work in the community, and for TimeOut charity.

Ronda Amende set up the TimeOut charitable trust in 2016 to gift people with a terminal diagnosis a holiday with their family so they can create precious memories. She has inspired Kiwis to generously donate time in their holiday or beach houses, with over 135 homes now on offer to families.

Westfield Local Heroes are nominated and voted for by their communities, with the three top finalists per Westfield centre each awarded a $10,000 grant for their affiliated organisation. If Ronda is successful, the TimeOut Charitable Trust will use its funds to arrange more TimeOut stays, particularly for families from the Maori and Pacific Islander community.
