How it Works
We aim to make donating your holiday home as simple and flexible as possible.
Register your holiday home online with TimeOut, providing some basic details, including photos, location, sleeping arrangements and any preferences around when and how often you’d like to donate. You can tell us which months work for you, how many stays you’d like to offer each year and the maximum length of a stay. Our team will then give you a call to talk through the process and answer any questions you may have.
A person living with Stage 4 or advanced cancer, or another incurable illness, applies for a TimeOut Stay. We check their medical eligibility and confirm the details of everyone in their group. Our team then looks for a suitable property based on the family’s needs, location, group size and requested dates.
If your property looks like a good fit and is available, we’ll contact you with the request. You can accept or decline depending on what works for you and your property.
If you’re happy to accept, we’ll confirm the stay and connect you directly with the recipient. You’ll receive the stay details and the recipient’s contact information, and you can then communicate directly to finalise the details of the stay.
We’ll check in with you and the recipient before the stay and again afterwards to make sure everything goes smoothly.
