How it Works
We aim to make the sign-up and donation process as simple and flexible as possible for our donors.
Donors register their property online, including photos, property details, location and any guidelines around availability or specific preferences (e.g. maximum stay length, suitable months, number of donations per year).
A recipient - someone with a stage 4 cancer or incurable illness - submits an application for a TimeOut stay. We verify medical eligibility and confirm the details of the group applying to stay.
The TimeOut team carefully matches each request with available properties. If your home is a good fit and your calendar looks to be available, we’ll contact you with the request for your consideration.
If you’re happy to host the recipient, we’ll confirm the stay by sending an email to both you and the recipient. This includes the booking details, each others contact information, and a template for a simple agreement outlining expectations (between an owner and the recipient).
We’ll check in with both you and the recipient prior to the stay and again afterward, just to ensure everything goes smoothly
